They were either super specific and he wanted a Broly clone, or they weren't specific at all and Toei finally enacted their hidden agenda all along.

He didn't even include Gregory in Battle of Gods. But Broly is also immensely popular, and I'm sure Toriyama knows it, so I can see him doing it. Especially since he did design Broly himself.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Hellsing, Elfen Lied, Trigun Maximum	I can only imagine that Takao Koyama (The guy who created Broly) burst into Toei's studio with a AK-47 and demanded they put his beloved Broly in the anime. He then told them to make him a girl, so that she could truly be his "beloved" Broly. The only thing I can hope is that, unless they really enhance the character and make her interesting, they will at least mercilessly parody her as the incompetent piece of work she is based off.

Nice to see Teletubbies giving Veggie a hard time. Regardless, this does seem like something from the new intro we'll be getting. The designs are great imo. Brawly only needs to not have a bad backstory and not scream one word to be better than Movie Broly (isn't hard to do unless AT goes out of his way to do so). She does interest me, but I'm more interested in the Wolf Dude and Teletubbie at the moment. Still, Brawly will probably play a fairly large role given that she's a tribute to one of Dragon Ball's most popular characters.

Reminds me of when Goku fought wolves in one of the first few episodes of DB: Spoiler: click to toggle I don't really like the idea of the first female Super Saiyan in the series being just a Broly knockoff, although I'm sure it'll be entertaining to watch. Hoping we at least get a regular female Super Saiyan somewhere in the tournament. That Deadshot-looking guy Goku's fighting in the new opening looks pretty cool.
